Your privacy explained in plain English

Privacy pages are notoriously difficult to read. Full of legalese that no-one actually reads. Instead, we want to be as transparent as possible and outline what information we collect and how we use it in easy to understand English.

Unlike most organizations, we haven't created this page to comply with a piece of legislation or cover our backsides. We've written it so you know exactly what information we have on you and how we use it.

What we know about the average visitor

We don't collect much about the average visitor. We use the privacy focused Fathom Analytics and collect some minimal information about you:

All this data is completely anonymous and we cannot access details on individual visitors.

What we know about subscribers

If you signup to our newsletter, we store:

We use ConvertKit to manage our subscription lists. We use the same company for all newsletter signups and they're very well known.

ConvertKit will tell us the following:

We'll rarely need to look at individual subscribers, our primary concern is making sure that we're providing value and making sure you're aware of the latest news and updates from SUL.

What Do We Do With Your Data?

Not much! We'll use Fathom Analytics and ConvertKit data to help inform us how well our content and outreach is performing.

We never pass any of the data we collect (including your email address) to any other third party. We do not track you beyond our website.

What if you're unhappy with how we hold your data?

If you have any concerns, you can always contact us. We'll happily delete any information we might hold on you.

We believe that privacy is of utmost importance and we aim to be as transparent as possible about the information we collect and what we do with it. If you have any questions, you can always contact us.
